We are looking for an experienced and responsible Heavy Vehicle Driver with 3–5 years of experience to handle company vehicles safely and efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for transporting materials/products between the company, suppliers, and customer sites while ensuring timely delivery and proper vehicle maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive heavy vehicles safely for material and product transportation.
- Transport and deliver materials to customer and project sites on time.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules efficiently.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials and check the load before transportation.
- Maintain delivery documents, trip sheets, and other required records.
- Conduct routine checks of the vehicle before and after each trip.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, maintenance requirements, or other issues immediately.
- Follow all traffic rules, road safety regulations, and company safety procedures.
- Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
- Coordinate with the site team, transport team, and customers regarding deliveries.
- Handle materials carefully during transportation to avoid damage.
- Support other transport-related activities as required.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Driver.
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) / Heavy Transport Driving Licence.
- Good knowledge of local and highway routes.
- Safe and responsible driving habits.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage delivery schedules and complete trips on time.
- Willingness to travel as required for work.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
