Job Summary
GEEKEN CHEMICALS INDIA LIMITED is looking for an experienced and commercially oriented Finance Manager with strong expertise in Finance & Accounts, Business Finance, Sales Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Costing, Working Capital Management, MIS and Statutory Compliance.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the Agro Chemical / Manufacturing business, including product costing, inventory management, dealer/distributor finance, sales profitability, credit control and cash-flow management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall Finance, Accounts and Business Finance function.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, financial projections and business plans.
- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and management reports.
- Conduct financial, profitability and variance analysis and provide actionable insights to management.
- Analyze product-wise, customer-wise, territory-wise and channel-wise profitability.
- Work closely with Sales to evaluate pricing, margins, discounts, schemes, incentives and credit terms.
- Monitor dealer/distributor/customer outstanding, ageing and credit exposure.
- Manage and optimize working capital, cash flow, receivables, payables and inventory.
- Prepare and review product costing, standard costing, actual costing and cost variance analysis.
- Monitor raw material, production, logistics and distribution costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Analyze inventory turnover, slow-moving/non-moving stock and stock valuation.
- Monitor actual financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Support management in pricing decisions, new product evaluation and strategic business decisions.
- Strengthen internal financial controls, processes and risk-management systems.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors, Internal Auditors and Tax Consultants.
- Ensure timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting.
- Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Production, Supply Chain and Operations to improve business profitability.
- Lead, guide and supervise the Finance & Accounts team.
Sales & Commercial Finance
- Monitor sales achievement, contribution margins and profitability.
- Analyze the financial impact of sales schemes, discounts, rebates and incentives.
- Monitor customer/dealer profitability and creditworthiness.
- Track DSO, collection efficiency and overdue receivables.
- Support management in pricing and commercial negotiations.
- Identify margin leakage, cost inefficiencies and commercial risks.
- Prepare sales and commercial MIS for senior management.

- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax and statutory compliance
- Strong understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
- Advanced MS Excel & MIS Reporting
- Knowledge of Tally / SAP / ERP preferred
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates with experience in Agro Chemicals, Crop Protection, Pesticides, Fertilizers, Specialty Chemicals, Chemical Manufacturing or related Manufacturing Industries will be preferred.
Ideal Candidate: A commercially strong Finance Manager who can understand and manage finance, sales, costing, margins, working capital, credit risk and overall business profitability, while providing meaningful financial insights to senior management.
