Job Purpose
The Jr. BOQ Executive will be responsible for preparing and maintaining Bills of Quantities (BOQ), quantity take-offs, rate analysis, project costing support, and commercial documentation for interior design and execution projects. The role requires close coordination with the Design, Project, Site, Purchase, Production, and Accounts teams to ensure accurate quantities, costing, and timely project execution.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, and material estimates based on drawings, designs, specifications, and site requirements.
· Study architectural, interior, furniture, electrical, civil, and other relevant drawings to identify quantities and requirements.
· Assist in preparing project-wise costing, estimates, and comparative statements.
· Verify quantities against drawings, site measurements, and actual execution requirements.
· Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Supervisors, Designers, Production, Purchase, and Vendors for clarification of quantities and specifications.
· Prepare and update BOQs based on design revisions, site changes, and client requirements.
· Assist the Project Manager in vendor bill verification by checking quantities, rates, measurements, and work completion.
· Maintain records of approved BOQs, revised quantities, additional items, wastages, and variations.
· Assist in preparing Rate Analysis (RA) for various materials and execution activities.
· Compare BOQ quantities with purchase orders, material consumption, production quantities, and site execution.
· Support the commercial team in monitoring project budgets and cost variations.
· Conduct or assist in site measurements, including outstation project visits whenever required.
· Coordinate with factory and site teams to ensure required materials are produced and delivered as per BOQ and project requirements.
· Maintain proper documentation and trackers for BOQ, costing, billing, variations, and project status.
· Prepare regular reports in Microsoft Excel for project costing, quantities, material requirements, and commercial tracking.
· Identify discrepancies in quantities, rates, or specifications and highlight them to the Project Manager.
· Ensure all BOQ and commercial records are accurate, updated, and properly maintained.
Key Capabilities & Experience Needed
· 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in BOQ, estimation, quantity surveying, commercial coordination, or interior execution.
· Experience in interior design and execution, preferably premium or luxury residential projects.
· Good understanding of interior materials, furniture, civil, electrical, false ceiling, flooring, finishes, and other execution activities.
· Strong knowledge of quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.
· Ability to read and understand architectural, interior, furniture, and technical drawings.
· Good understanding of measurements, quantities, rates, wastage, and project costing.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, filters, sorting, pivot tables, and project trackers.
· Basic knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
· Good numerical and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
· Ability to coordinate effectively with site, factory, purchase, production, vendors, and project teams.
· Good written and verbal communication and coordination skills.
· Willingness to travel for site measurements and outstation projects, whenever required.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor / Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Preferred: Candidates with experience in premium/luxury residential interior projects and knowledge of furniture and interior manufacturing processes.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
