Job Position : Civil Site Engineer (Site Based )

Role Summary
This Jr/Sr Engineer role is focused on pre-construction and early execution support for high-rise residential projects, with a strong emphasis on quantity take-off, BOQ verification, and construction methodology planning. You will play a key role in stabilizing site execution by setting up systematic processes for quantities, cost control, and coordination between drawings and site teams. Your work will directly impact reduction of rework, improvement of quality, and adherence to project budgets and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from structural, architectural, and services drawings for RCC, blockwork, plaster, flooring, waterproofing, and other civil items, and verify against BOQs.
- Assist in pre-construction activities including basic rate analysis, cost comparisons, and preparation of preliminary cost sheets in MS Excel.
- Review and interpret RCC, architectural, and services drawings for multi-storey buildings; highlight discrepancies, RFIs, and coordinate clarifications with client/PMC/consultants.
- Support the planning team with inputs for work sequencing, construction methodology (including aluform shuttering cycles), and basic look-ahead schedules.
- Coordinate with site execution teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quantities, specifications, and construction methods are aligned with contract documents and drawings.
- Monitor material consumption versus theoretical quantities to flag variances, support cost control, and reduce wastage and rework.
- Contribute to implementation of site processes for documentation, checklists, quality inspections, and safety compliance during early execution.
Essential requirements
- B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 3-6 years of experience in building projects, preferably high-rise residential
