Executive – Human Resources (Payroll & Statutory Compliance)
Experience - 1–6 Years
Qualification - MSW/MBA
Job Purpose
To manage end-to-end payroll administration and ensure complete compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory requirements. The incumbent will be responsible for accurate payroll processing, statutory remittances, return filings, compliance documentation, employee records, and supporting HR operations while ensuring adherence to company policies and legal regulations.
Key ResponsibilitiesPayroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll with complete accuracy and within defined timelines.
- Validate attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
- Process salary revisions, arrears, bonuses, Full & Final Settlements, and separation payments.
- Generate payslips, payroll reports, salary registers, and management MIS.
- Reconcile payroll data and maintain payroll confidentiality.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour legislations and statutory requirements.
- Prepare and file monthly and annual EPF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and TDS returns within statutory due dates.
- Coordinate statutory remittances and maintain accurate compliance records.
- Handle EPF and ESIC registrations, transfers, exits, nominations, UAN-related activities, and employee benefit administration.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and compliance documentation as prescribed under applicable Acts.
- Coordinate statutory inspections, labour audits, and compliance reviews.
HR Operations
- Maintain employee master data and HR documentation.
- Support onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and employee separation processes.
- Prepare employment-related letters and HR documentation.
- Respond to employee queries related to payroll, statutory deductions, and employee benefits.
- Support HR projects and policy implementation.
