Job Purpose:
To operate and monitor cold chamber aluminium pressure die casting machines to produce quality cast components as per production targets, safety standards, and customer specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cold chamber die casting machine for aluminium components.
- Perform die mounting, clamping, and alignment as per setup instructions.
- Ensure correct metal pouring (molten aluminium) into the shot sleeve.
- Control and monitor process parameters (pressure, temperature, cycle time, shot speed).
- Carry out first piece inspection and in-process quality checks.
- Identify and report casting defects (porosity, cold shuts, flash, shrinkage, etc.).
- Trim excess material and ensure proper casting finishing.
- Maintain production records (output, rejection, downtime).
- Follow SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines strictly.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning (5S).
- Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams for issues.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
