Job SummaryResponsible for managing team of outsourced staff by providing deep technical expertise in designing and delivering end to end high performance, scalable& flexible solutions for Policy admin system(Ingenium) and responsive APIs, application& data Integration, scalable databases. He/ She would be also responsible to experiment, explore and demonstrate application of new technologies by means of conducting quick prototypes to solve business problems. Work with the direction from Solution Architect/ Enterprise Architect and co-create solutions with rest of the IT delivery teams. Key Responsibilities: •Managing Business Requirement for product launches in all systems including Policy admin systems (Ingenium) and Integrated B2B and B2C assets•Provide consultancy to business for their IT needs on individual life product launches and enhancements.•End to end responsibility and ownership of solutions from Designing till their implementation (done in Project Mode)•Ensure Production support including audit findings are closed within TAT and weekly/monthly review with business partner • Ensure system performance and uptime •Review Work closely with various business partners and other departments to create future proof solutions covering digital, automation, APIs, integration and Resource management • Evaluating and implementing new frameworks, tools as part of projects•Responsible for building and managing governance processes and making sure teams are consciously adhering to Processes•Provide technical expertise in solving/troubleshooting performance& other non-functional requirements•Training& Knowledge Management within the team and stakeholders•Leading the team of business partners to co-create technical solutions for business problems•Ensure quality deliveries are done on time for SIT/UAT, provide testing support•Application monitoring, Performance, System tuning& hardening•Ensure Product lifecycle management - EOL / EOS, Version upgrades(n-1)/VAPT/License/Compliance•Own/review - compliance/IS/data leakage open points for the system•Own DR Readiness& completeness, system audit•API enablement/common capability creationOTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: •To maintain a healthy working relationship with the business users and other members of the IT Team•Responsible for overall performance, cost and delivery of technology solutions Measures of Success: •Alignment of IT landscape to overall vision and blue prints•Faster, better and cheaper delivery of applications via technology•Compliance to Technical principles and standards including NFR’s/VAPT•SLA Compliance, RCA and defect repetition•Exceptional user(internal/external) experience, automation and operational efficiency by adoption of new cutting edge technology solutions to solve business problems•Trusted partnership with other departments of IT and business•Team Performance, Team Feedback, Healthy working environment•Customer satisfaction ratings Key competencies/skills required: •At least 4 years of experience in design& development of Ingenium enhancements •Experience on individual life insurance product launches is preferable•Have strong ability to trouble shoot the application and interface related problems•Experience in addressing scalability& performance tuning of applications•End to End designing of applications with backend integrationPassionate Problem Solver and “Can do attitude”, self-driven with sound communication& articulation skillsDesired qualifications and experience: •B.E / MCA / MBA //degree from a reputed institute•8-10 years of strong dev/business analysis experience with hands-on software development background•At least 4 years of experience in design& development of Ingenium enhancements•Knowledge of MLI system architecture will be a distinct advantage•Should have architected and delivered at least 2-3 large projects in insurance domain•Should be working or should have worked with reputed organizations or startups
