We are looking for a Tailor to join our team to design garments and collections as per market trends and brand identity. This creative role requires planning, developing and creating new designs manually or using a computer. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹10,000 - ₹15,000 and an opportunity to work on innovative fashion projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Stitch high-quality women's garments including kurtis, dresses, co-ord sets, tops, skirts, and pants.
- Develop samples from design sketches, reference images, or existing garments.
- Understand garment construction and execute designs with attention to detail.
- Suggest stitching and construction improvements where required.
- Make alterations and fitting corrections during the sampling process.
- Work closely with the designer to achieve the desired fit and finish.
- Ensure neat stitching, proper finishing, and premium-quality workmanship.
- Maintain consistency when producing repeat pieces after sample approval.
Job Requirements:
- The minimum qualification for this role is 12th Pass and 1 - 3 years of experience.
- Ability to understand measurements, patterns, and garment specifications.
- Experience working with cotton, rayon, linen, crepe, georgette, chiffon, and similar fabrics.
- Ability to stitch different necklines, sleeves, gathers, pleats, ruffles, collars, cuffs, zippers, and linings.
- Good understanding of garment fitting and alterations.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with boutique or fashion brands.
- Ability to develop samples independently.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
