About the Role
We are looking for a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager / Sales Head to lead our sales function and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in IT product sales, SaaS sales, CRM/ERP solutions, or enterprise application sales, with exposure to platforms like Zoho CRM, Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar enterprise solutions.
This role will be responsible for converting inbound leads generated through our partnership ecosystem, developing outbound lead generation strategies, building and mentoring the sales team, and ensuring revenue targets are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end sales for CRM, ERP, SaaS, and enterprise software solutions while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead qualification to closure and ensure higher conversion rates across all sales stages.
- Convert inbound leads received through partner channels into paying customers and maintain strong sales pipeline reports and forecasts.
- Develop and execute outbound lead generation strategies through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and partnerships.
- Identify new business opportunities, target markets, and growth areas across SMEs, mid-market, and enterprise clients.
- Build, lead, and mentor the sales/business development team by defining KPIs, targets, and performance metrics.
- Coach team members on objection handling, negotiation, and closing strategies while conducting regular performance reviews.
- Build strong client relationships, handle enterprise-level negotiations, and collaborate with marketing and technical teams to improve customer experience and sales strategy.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–12+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record in selling IT products, SaaS solutions, CRM, ERP, enterprise applications, or digital transformation services.
- Strong experience in managing both inbound and outbound sales channels with exposure to enterprise and consultative selling.
- Good understanding of CRM, ERP, SaaS products, cloud solutions, and business automation platforms.
- Expertise in lead qualification methodologies such as BANT, MEDDIC, SPICED, and strong sales discovery skills.
- Strong negotiation, objection handling, and deal-closing capabilities with the ability to manage long sales cycles.
- Experience in building, managing, and mentoring high-performing sales teams with strong target management and reporting skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and ability to simplify technical solutions into business value.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with Zoho Corporation Partner ecosystem.
- Hands-on exposure to Zoho One, Zoho Books, Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, or other Zoho applications.
- Experience in solution consulting or pre-sales.
- Knowledge of automation, workflow consulting, and digital transformation.
- Experience selling to global/international markets.
- Existing industry network and client connections.
