Basic Qualifications:-

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited university

1+ years’ experience in layout of high speed PCBs
-
Experience in routing DDR3/4 memory interface, PCIe, etc.

Experienced with schematic capture tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, Cadence Concept, or Mentor, etc.
-
Experienced in Mentor Hyperlynx for Signal Integrity & Power Integrity tools, or similar
-
Excellent ability to work in a team and within a complex global organization

Solid oral and written communication skills.

Ability to influence outcomes and drive initiatives in complex environments
Preferred Qualifications:-

Detailed understanding of high speed digital PCB routing constraints, multilayer PCB construction

Experience managing 3rd party layout services

Ability to collaborate with cross functional technical teams

Ability to participate in schematic and design reviews
Main Responsibilities:-
-
Work with electrical engineers to design circuit boards assemblies including MCU, SOC, high voltage, high power, HDI, and high-speed, etc.

Design printed circuit boards that meet design for manufacture
-
Work with mechanical engineers on mechanical-electrical packaging
-
Support quick-turn board builds with PCBA contract manufacturers
-
Release technical documents (BOM, design procedures, design for manufacture, etc.).
