- Data Organization: Review, tag, and index document productions to prepare them seamlessly for senior outside counsel review.
- Drafting Support: Prepare initial templates and drafts for responses to interrogatories, requests for production, and privilege logs based on regional templates.
3. Strategy Support & Outside Counsel Oversight (Counsel Focus)
- Case Analysis: Review case materials, pleadings, and transcripts to synthesize facts, identify evidentiary gaps, and provide strategic summaries to the core legal team. Provide strategic summaries and solution steps as assistance to internal team members.
- Legal Spend Optimization: Review and audit complex invoices from senior outside counsel against corporate billing guidelines, identifying billing leaks and tracking total case budgets.
- Knowledge Management: Maintain a centralized repository of case strategies, legal research memos, and procedural playbooks for the US team.
- Legal Research: Conduct legal research pertaining to the specific case/litigation
4. Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) from a reputable university in India.
- Experience: 3 to 6+ years of experience working within an LPO (Legal Process Outsourcing), corporate legal support, or an international law firm environment handling US/UK/Global litigation support.
- Technical Skillset: High proficiency in global e-discovery and litigation platforms
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to work adjusted hours (e.g., mid-shift or US hours) to facilitate real-time collaboration with US team members and senior outside counsel.
- Core Competencies:
- Exceptional written and spoken English, with a deep understanding of Western legal terminology and litigation life cycles.
- Meticulous attention to detail; thrives in an environment where procedural accuracy is non-negotiable.
- Strong analytical skills to dissect complex data and summarize it effectively for remote teams.
