Job Description ? Technical Engineer (Mainframes)
Contractor ? Offshore
? Provide admin support for the z/OS operating system. Knowledge on SMPE and IPL process.
? Perform system configuration, maintenance, and optimization.
? Collaborate with Bank mainframe administrators and support teams.
? Perform routine health checks and performance monitoring on the Mainframe.
? Provide support for mainframe disaster recovery planning and execution.
? Participate in regular DR tests and exercises.
? Provide support and administer mainframe storage resources.
? Support and Manage HSM and storage pools.
? Support data availability and backup strategies.
? Support and administer Mainframe CICS regions.
? Monitor CICS performance and troubleshoot issues.
? Collaborate with application teams for CICS-related requirements.
? Support and administer IBM MQ on the mainframe.
? Support and maintain MQ queues and channels.
? Ensure message delivery and queue management.
? Support MQ-related incidents and Mainframe applications using MQ.
? Provide support for in-scope incidents that occur during India work hours.
? Collaborate with Client CICS administrators and support teams.
? Perform DR Test, Capacity Monitoring, Process Documentation, and update time to time bases.
