Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional and manual testing across web applications, including trading workflows, charting features, market data displays, and user-facing platform capabilities.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, checklists, and acceptance criteria based on product requirements and real-world user scenarios.
- Validate market data accuracy, including prices, charts, OHLC values, symbols, sessions, and real-time data behavior.
- Identify issues such as incorrect data, missing updates, performance problems, UI inconsistencies, and unexpected user flows before production releases.
- Conduct regression testing across existing applications and new product releases to ensure platform stability.
- Perform cross-browser and compatibility testing across different environments and devices.
- Investigate reported issues by reproducing problems, analyzing root causes, and creating clear bug reports for engineering teams.
- Work closely with developers to verify fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Partner with Support teams to investigate customer-reported problems and identify recurring quality issues.
- Maintain organized QA documentation, including test scenarios, regression suites, and testing processes.
- Identify repetitive testing workflows that can be automated and collaborate with automation engineers to improve test coverage.
- Perform release validation and provide quality assessments before production deployments.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or similar roles.
- Strong experience with manual and functional testing of complex web applications.
- Ability to design effective test strategies, test cases, regression plans, and edge-case scenarios.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify issues others may overlook.
- Excellent bug reporting skills with clear reproduction steps and supporting details.
- Comfortable using browser developer tools, reviewing API responses, and performing basic SQL queries for data validation.
- Ability to understand technical workflows and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of product quality.
