Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Fashion and Mode Industry Counselor to guide aspiring professionals and students in their journey through the dynamic world of fashion. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fashion industry, trends, career pathways, and skill requirements. This role focuses on mentoring individuals to achieve their professional goals while fostering creativity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Career Counseling:
- Provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to individuals interested in careers in fashion design, styling, merchandising, and other industry areas.
- Assess clients' interests, skills, and goals to recommend suitable career paths.
- Industry Insights and Guidance:
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and opportunities in the fashion and mode industry.
- Advise clients on industry demands, job roles, and skill development strategies.
- Educational Guidance:
- Help clients identify and select appropriate fashion schools, certifications, or training programs.
- Assist with portfolio building and applications for design institutes or internships.
- Skill Development Support:
- Provide guidance on essential skills such as sketching, software tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D), trend forecasting, and communication.
- Connect clients with relevant workshops, networking events, and mentorship programs.
- Networking and Resources:
- Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and institutions.
- Offer clients access to internships, job shadowing, and networking opportunities.
- Personal Development:
- Coach clients on building confidence, personal branding, and effective communication skills.
- Provide insights on how to navigate a highly competitive and fast-paced industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Styling, Merchandising, Psychology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in the fashion industry or a counseling role.
- Strong knowledge of global fashion trends, industry dynamics, and key players.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with career counseling or mentoring preferred.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
