Internship Overview We are seeking enthusiastic Mechanical Engineering graduates (2025/2026 pass-outs) to join our Embedded & Robotics Team as Mechanical Design Engineering Interns. As a member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the mechanical design, product enhancement, manufacturing support, and deployment of our healthcare humanoid robots. You will collaborate with Mechanical, Embedded, Electronics, AI, Computer Vision, and Software engineers to deliver reliable, high-quality robotic products. This internship provides an opportunity to work on commercially deployable robotics products in a multidisciplinary engineering environment. Eligibility B.E. in Mechanical Engineering (2025 or 2026 pass-out). Internship experience during engineering in Mechanical Design, Product Development, Robotics, Manufacturing, Automotive, or related domains. Strong passion for robotics, automation, and product engineering. Key Responsibilities Design and modify mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks. Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation. Apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) in production drawings. Develop and refine surface models for robot exteriors and mechanical enclosures. Design structural components, brackets, mounts, and mechanical fixtures. Collaborate with Embedded, Electronics, AI, Computer Vision, and Software teams for hardware integration. Support product engineering activities, design improvements, and engineering change implementation. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), assembly drawings, exploded views, and revisioncontrolled documentation. Coordinate with manufacturing teams and vendors to ensure design compliance and production readiness. Support assembly activities and resolve mechanical issues during production and deployment. Ensure all mechanical designs comply with engineering standards, manufacturability, quality, and reliability requirements. Technical Skills Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (Part, Assembly, Drawing, Sheet Metal, and Weldments). Sound knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T). Hands-on experience in Surface Modelling. Good understanding of engineering drawings and mechanical design principles. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Understanding of engineering materials, fasteners, bearings, and mechanical assemblies. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
