Job Summary:
The Bakery Chef is responsible for preparing, baking, decorating, and presenting a variety of bakery products such as breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and desserts. The role involves maintaining quality standards, developing new recipes, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and bake breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other bakery products.
- Follow standardized recipes and production schedules.
- Decorate cakes, pastries, and desserts according to company standards.
- Develop and test new bakery items and seasonal products.
- Monitor product quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery area.
- Manage inventory of ingredients and place stock requests when needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Bakery, Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in a bakery, hotel, café, or pastry kitchen.
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
