Job Description (JD)
We are looking for an experienced and target-driven Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations, expand market presence, manage distributor networks, and drive revenue growth across assigned territories. The ideal candidate should have strong FMCG sales experience and excellent relationship management skills.
Experience: 3 + years
Industry Preference: FMCG / Food Industry
Location: Assigned Sales Territory
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets
- Manage distributors, retailers, and dealer networks
- Expand market reach and identify new business opportunities
- Monitor sales performance and ensure target achievement
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order execution and supply
- Conduct market visits and competitor analysis
- Prepare sales reports and market feedback regularly
- Lead and motivate sales representatives within the territory
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3 + years of experience in FMCG sales
- Strong knowledge of distribution and retail sales operations
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to achieve sales targets in a competitive market
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions
- Good understanding of market trends and customer behavior

- Experience in snacks, namkeen, or food products industry
