Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Installation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blue-prints, and engineering instructions to assemble, fit, and install mechanical parts, jigs, fixtures, and structures.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on production machinery (such as hydraulic presses, pneumatic systems, gears, and conveyors) to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
- Breakdown Maintenance: Quickly diagnose and repair mechanical faults or malfunctions when machines stop working on the production floor.
- Precision Fitting: Use hand tools and machine tools (like grinders)
- Alignment & Calibration: Align and level heavy machinery, shafts, and bearings using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, vernier calipers, and dial gauges.
- Documentation: Maintain a daily log of maintenance activities, parts replaced, and machine performance for the supervisor's review.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certification in Fitter trade is mandatory.

- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (Vernier caliper, Micrometer, Gauges).
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical transmission systems (gears, belts, bearings).
Working Conditions & Safety
- Must be comfortable working in rotational shifts (including night shifts if required).
- Strict adherence to factory safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) like safety shoes, helmets, and glasses.
