Role Overview
As FP&A leader, you will play a critical role in driving financial planning, performance tracking, and multiple strategic analysis for a high-growth SaaS/AI business. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Business Analytics and Customer Success to translate operational metrics into financial insights.
This role requires strong analytical rigor, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to operate in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Planning & Forecasting
Drive building quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles
Build and maintain financial models for revenue, costs, and cash flow
Partner with business teams to ensure realistic and data-backed assumptions
2. SaaS & AI Metrics Tracking
Monitor key SaaS KPIs including ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin, and payback periods
Analyze usage-based and success-based revenue models (including AI/LLM-driven pricing)
Track unit economics and cohort-level performance
3. Business Performance & Analysis
Prepare monthly MIS and management dashboards
Deliver actionable insights on revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin expansion
Conduct variance analysis vs. budget/forecast with clear commentary
4. Strategic Finance Support
Support fundraising activities, board reporting, and investor presentations
Assist in evaluating new pricing models, product launches, and market expansion initiatives
5. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Sales (pipeline, bookings), Marketing (CAC), and Product teams
Enable finance business partnering across functions
Improve data quality and reporting processes in collaboration with Data/BI teams
6. Automation & Systems
Enhance FP&A processes using tools like in-house apps , BI dashboards, and financial planning systems
Drive automation of recurring reporting tasks
Support implementation of scalable finance systems aligned with growth
7. Accounting support
Monitor/Create accounting entries and drive book closure activities to ensure timely reporting and analysis
Key Qualifications
Education & Experience
CA / MBA (Finance) / CA Finalist
2–6 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate finance, Founders office or related roles
Experience in SaaS, technology, startup, or high-growth environments is highly preferred
