We’re looking for an experienced and highly organised E-commerce Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and fulfilment operations. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across inventory management, order fulfilment, dispatch, quality control, and warehouse team management.
The ideal candidate is process-driven, detail-orientated, and capable of building efficient systems that ensure every customer receives the right product, on time, every time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end warehouse and e-commerce operations.
- Supervise the packing, dispatch, and fulfilment teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Ensure every order is accurately picked, packed, verified, and dispatched without errors.
- Implement quality checks to minimise incorrect shipments, damages, and returns.
- Manage inventory levels, stock movement, replenishment, and inventory forecasting.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records.
- Develop and improve SOPs to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors.
- Monitor daily order volumes and allocate resources to meet dispatch timelines.
- Coordinate with customer support, procurement, and other internal teams to resolve operational issues.
- Track operational KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous process improvements.
- Train, mentor, and manage warehouse staff while maintaining productivity and accountability.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organisation, safety, and compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, fulfilment, logistics, or e-commerce operations.
- Proven experience managing warehouse or fulfilment teams.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations.
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on operational accuracy.
- Experience using inventory management or warehouse management systems is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a D2C or e-commerce startup.
- Knowledge of courier and shipping operations.
- Experience creating SOPs and improving operational workflows.
- Ability to analyse operational data and improve efficiency.
