Lead Engineer in QA Test will define test strategy, develop test plans, test scripts and procedures to verify functionality of our Enterprise Software Application and regulatory performance of embedded systems for Emergency Lighting systems as part of the Life Safety Division. We are looking for motivated professionals with strong skills in Automation testing who will play a key role in verifying and validating the next-generation technology solutions that change how users connect, explore, and interact with information and devices. QA Lead will primarily work with development teams in Pune and Europe.

- Defines and Leads test strategy, develops detailed test plans, specifications, test cases, test scripts and test data sets that validate functional, performance requirements and update existing test procedures based on requirement changes and test analysis.
- Develops, execute, and maintain extensible automated tests; skillsets in Java, C# or Python, selenium required.
- Designs and implements robust, scalable, high quality Test Automation Suites within a Continuous Integration and Deployment environment to improve quality and productivity of functional, regression, and system tests.
- Participates in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents; interacts with Management, leads, and other team members in a one-to-one or one-to-many meeting format.
- Analyze test results, and identify, document, and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team and the defect tracking system.
- Drive continuous improvement through development and implementation of best practices and processes
- Gain knowledge and experience in the design and application of Emergency Lighting Systems
- Ownership of Automation development and leading reviews with LT
- Communicates technical concepts and information to internal staff/peers and stakeholders; strong verbal, documentation, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Identifies opportunities for process, tools, and test methodology improvements, and drives those from concept to implementation.
- Validates official customer product releases and takes responsibility for the end-result.
- Primarily work with development teams Pune and Europe and test/automate the features developed.
