Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of machines, sub-assemblies, and components, ensuring quality, accuracy, and adherence to engineering specifications. The candidate should have experience in machine assembly, interpretation of engineering drawings, and basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical assembly of machine parts, modules, and sub-assemblies.
- Read and interpret engineering and assembly drawings.
- Carry out fitting, drilling, tapping, alignment, and mechanical integration activities.
- Assist in hydraulic and pneumatic system assembly and installation.
- Support machine trials, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and assembly procedures.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace discipline.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Provide support for machine installation and commissioning at customer sites when required.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly and machine building.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
- Basic fabrication and fitting knowledge.
- Knowledge of alignment, leveling, and machine installation practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in machine assembly, SPMs, automation equipment, robotics, or hydraulic systems.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial machinery environments.
- Willingness to travel for site installation and commissioning activities.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
