URGENT HIRING – PLANT HEAD (OPERATIONS & QUALITY)
Position: Plant Head – Operations & Quality
Salary: ₹12–13 LPA
Location: Ecotech 2, Greater Noida

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Plant Head to take end-to-end responsibility for the overall performance of the manufacturing facility. The candidate will lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain Coordination, Cost Management, EHS, and Continuous Improvement while ensuring operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
The role also includes complete responsibility for the Quality Management System (QMS) and quality functions across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plant Operations
- Lead overall plant operations to achieve Production, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Safety targets.
- Ensure production plans and customer delivery schedules are met.
- Improve plant productivity, efficiency, and asset utilization.
- Monitor KPIs and drive corrective actions.
2. Quality Management
- Own and manage the complete QMS across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, customer-specific requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Lead Supplier Quality, Incoming Quality, In-Process Quality, Final Inspection & Customer Quality.
- Handle customer complaints through 8D, RCA, CAPA, and preventive quality systems.
- Monitor PPM, COPQ, rejection rates, warranty claims, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
3. Production & Manufacturing Excellence
- Improve OEE, productivity, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, 5S & Poka-Yoke.
- Reduce manufacturing defects and process variations.
- Drive automation and digital manufacturing initiatives.
4. Maintenance & Engineering
- Ensure preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Improve equipment uptime and machine reliability.
- Support new equipment installation and capacity expansion.
5. Supply Chain & Inventory
- Coordinate with Procurement, Planning, Stores & Logistics teams.
- Ensure optimum inventory and material availability.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and working capital.
6. Cost Optimization
- Prepare and monitor plant budgets.
- Reduce manufacturing costs while maintaining quality.
- Improve material yield, energy efficiency, and manpower productivity.
7. EHS & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Drive a Zero-Accident Safety Culture.
- Maintain legal compliance and audit readiness.
8. Team Leadership
- Lead Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Stores & Engineering teams.
- Develop future leaders through coaching and succession planning.
- Build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
9. Customer & Business Excellence
- Act as the primary plant interface for customer audits and escalations.
- Ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Support APQP, PPAP, New Product Development & Product Launches.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
- MBA/PGDM will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- 15–20+ years of experience in Automotive, EV, Auto Components, or Manufacturing.
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading an entire manufacturing plant.
- Strong experience managing Production & Quality simultaneously.
- Exposure to Motors, Controllers, Battery Packs, Power Electronics, or EV Components will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, 8D, RCA & CAPA.

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
