Job Summary
We are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our business. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation and statutory compliance, along with strong skills in Tally and MS Excel.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments and journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile bank accounts and ledgers.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers and other accounting documents.
- Handle GST, TDS and other statutory compliance and ensure timely filings.
- Prepare GST returns, TDS calculations and related reports.
- Perform monthly bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks and other external parties when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for all financial transactions.
- Assist management with accounting reports and financial information.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and timely completion of accounting work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and basic taxation.
- Good command of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Experience handling complete accounts independently.
- Experience in GST reconciliation and statutory compliance.
- Knowledge of Tally Prime, Excel and accounting software.
- Experience in a trading, manufacturing or business environment.
