Job Summary:
The Lecturer in English is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in English language and literature to Pre-University students. The role involves enhancing students’ communication, comprehension, and critical thinking skills while ensuring academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lectures in English language and literature as per the prescribed syllabus
- Prepare lesson plans, study materials, and teaching aids
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, and examinations
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students
- Maintain accurate academic records and attendance
- Support students in improving grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills
- Guide students in assignments, projects, and exam preparation
- Participate in staff meetings, academic planning, and institutional activities
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment in the classroom
Qualification & Skills:
- Master’s degree in English (MA in English)
- Strong command of English language and literature
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good classroom management abilities
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students
Experience:
- Prior teaching experience in PU/college level preferred
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
