Position: Retail Merchandiser / Planner
Key Responsibilities
Merchandise Planning
Prepare seasonal and monthly merchandise plans.
Forecast sales, inventory, and stock requirements.
Monitor OTB (Open-to-Buy) and manage inventory investments.
Analyze product performance and recommend actions.
Inventory Management
Ensure optimum stock levels across stores.
Monitor sell-through, stock cover, and stock aging.
Identify slow-moving and fast-moving products.
Plan replenishments and inter-store transfers.
Allocation & Distribution
Allocate merchandise based on store performance and capacity.
Manage new season launches and replenishment cycles.
Ensure timely stock availability for promotions and events.
Sales & Performance Analysis
Track KPIs such as:
o Sales
o Sell-through %
o Stock Turn
o GMROI
o ASP (Average Selling Price)
o Conversion Rate
Generate reports and provide actionable insights.
Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Sourcing, Retail Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain
teams.
Support store teams with inventory and assortment decisions.
Skills Required
Strong analytical and numerical ability.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query).
Retail math and inventory planning expertise.
Data analysis and forecasting.
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred Experience
Fashion/Apparel Retail
6-8 years in Merchandise Planning, Allocation, or Retail Merchandising.
Experience in LFS /EBO.
Knowledge of seasonal buying and fashion inventory management.
