Job Title: Mid-Level Executive - MEP Engineer- Real Estate
Location: Coimbatore (On-site)

Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Execution:
- Supervise the execution of HVAC systems, including ducting, chillers, AHUs, VRF units, exhaust, and ventilation systems.
- Ensure proper installation of plumbing systems, including water supply, sanitary, stormwater drainage, and gas distribution systems.
- Oversee electrical system installations such as main power distribution panels, sub-panels, wiring, lighting, earthing, and load management.
- Coordinate the layout of services to prevent clashes between electrical, mechanical, and plumbing works.
2. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Ensure all MEP works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, design specifications, and IS standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship and material quality.
- Verify and maintain inspection and test reports (ITRs), method statements, and quality checklists.
- Support the testing and commissioning of all MEP systems and ensure successful handover.
3. Coordination & Documentation:
- Coordinate effectively with the civil, structural, and finishing teams to ensure smooth integration of MEP services.
- Liaise with design consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical queries and design conflicts.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records, and site documentation.
- Track and report on the installation progress, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
4. Safety & Standards:
- Enforce safety practices during execution in line with site safety protocols.
- Ensure all tools, materials, and installations comply with safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Report unsafe practices and assist the Safety Officer in maintaining a safe work environment.
5. Material & Resource Management:
- Inspect incoming MEP materials for quality and compliance before installation.
- Assist in planning material requirements, manpower allocation, and sequencing of works.
- Coordinate with the purchase department for timely delivery of materials and ensure minimal wastage.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 4–7 years of experience in the execution of residential or commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications, and design details.
- Familiar with IS codes, NBC standards, and quality assurance procedures.
- Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in using MS Office, AutoCAD, and project monitoring tools.
