Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, web frameworks, REST APIs, databases, and cloud-based development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Python applications.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop scalable and secure web applications using Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases for application development.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements where applicable.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and object-oriented concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Django and/or Flask.
- Experience in developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with ORM frameworks.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Linux environments.
- Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as PyTest or Unittest.
- Good understanding of software design principles and development best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with FastAPI.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Exposure to microservices architecture.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
