Key Responsibilities
- Perform PCB rework and repair on SMT and through-hole assemblies.
- Remove and replace defective electronic components such as ICs, BGAs, QFNs, resistors, capacitors, connectors, and transistors.
- Conduct micro-soldering and precision soldering using soldering stations and hot air rework tools.
- Identify and rectify soldering defects including dry solder, bridges, tombstoning, lifted pads, and polarity issues.
- Read schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and PCB layouts for troubleshooting.
- Use microscopes and inspection tools for detailed PCB analysis.
- Perform continuity checks, signal verification, and functional testing of repaired boards.
- Work closely with SMT production, QA, and engineering teams to resolve manufacturing defects.
- Handle PCB trace repair, pad repair, jumper wiring, and minor circuit modifications.
- Maintain ESD safety procedures and IPC workmanship standards.
- Record repair activities, failure analysis observations, and testing reports.
- Support prototype corrections and engineering change implementations (ECO/ECN).
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SMT and through-hole soldering techniques.
- Experience with PCB repair and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electronic components and circuit functionality.
- Ability to use soldering irons, hot air stations, rework stations, and microscopes.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and IPC-7711/7721 standards is preferred.
- Basic understanding of multimeters, oscilloscopes, and continuity testers.
- Good hand stability, attention to detail, and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / Polytechnic in Electronics, ECE, EEE, or related field.
- Certification in soldering or PCB rework is an added advantage.
- Experience in EMS, PCB assembly, or electronics manufacturing industry preferred.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
