Proposal / Estimation Engineer – Pressure Vessels / Reactors / Tanks / Heat Exchangers
Reports To: Head of Department (Proposals) / Proposal Manager
We are looking for a Proposal / Estimation Engineer with sound technical knowledge of Pressure Vessels, Reactors, Tanks, and Heat Exchangers to manage the complete technical and commercial proposal cycle — from enquiry review through order handover to the factory.
Essential Requirement
- Knowledge of Pressure Vessel / Reactor / Tank / Heat Exchanger calculation, design, and fabrication is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Study the MDS (Mechanical/Material Data Sheet) and client drawings; review the basic design.
- Prepare the Technical Data Sheet for the enquiry.
- Identify and define the scope of work.
- Take technical clarifications from the client and attend client technical meetings.
- Prepare the Estimation Sheet and review it with the HOD.
- Submit the finalized estimation to the Proposal Department for issuing the proposal.
- Prepare the best commercial proposal on the basis of the technical proposal submitted.
- During technical and commercial evaluation by the client, prepare replies to client clarification requests and attend post-clarification meetings.
- Post order, prepare the scope matrix and submit it to the factory for execution as per the proposal.
