Job Title : Data Scientist (Intern)

ROLE SUMMARY
Support the video analytics team in building the models . A hands-on learning role for someone early in their computer vision or ML journey who wants real production exposure rather than a purely academic project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in preparing and cleaning training datasets from kitchen video footage.
- Run model experiments under the guidance of the Data Scientist and document results.
- Help evaluate model performance and summarize findings.
- Support literature review on relevant computer vision techniques (object detection, action recognition).
- Assist with annotation QA and dataset-statistics reporting.
- Contribute to early prototyping of the Hygiene Trust Score weighting logic.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Python and basic ML/DL concepts.
- Exposure to PyTorch/TensorFlow and OpenCV — coursework or personal projects are acceptable.
- Curiosity about computer vision and willingness to learn fast in a live production environment.
PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE
- Personal projects or coursework involving object detection or image classification.
- Familiarity with Jupyter/Colab-based experimentation workflows.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 per month
