We are looking for a skilled and confident Senior Unisex Hairdresser to join our growing team at Craft & Cuts Studio, Hospet. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise across all genders, has a passion for hair trends, and is comfortable being on camera to help build our brand presence through Instagram Reels and short-form content.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise haircuts, trims, and styling for male, female, and non-binary clients
- Perform advanced colour services including global colouring, highlights, balayage, and fashion/creative colour
- Provide smoothening, keratin, and hair spa treatments
- Consult clients on hairstyle choices, hair health, and recommended services
- Lead and mentor junior hairdressers on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation and tools at all times
- Stay updated on latest hair trends, techniques, and products
- Participate in creating Reels and short-form video content for the salon's social media — must be comfortable and confident on camera
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a unisex hairdresser in a professional salon
- Proficiency in cutting techniques: layered, blunt, razor, scissor over comb
- Strong knowledge of colouring chemistry and application techniques
- Experience handling all hair textures — straight, wavy, curly, coily
- Good communication and client management skills
- Comfortable appearing on camera for Instagram Reels and social media content
- Presentable, professional, and punctual
