About the Role
Spartek Group is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-
oriented Material Purchase & Management Professional to oversee
procurement operations, inventory management, vendor coordination, and
material planning for construction and precast concrete operations.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring cost-effective
procurement, uninterrupted material availability, quality compliance, and
efficient coordination between vendors, stores, and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Plan, source, and procure construction materials including:
o Cement
o Steel
o Aggregates
o Sand
o Admixtures
o Concrete elements
o Other raw materials related to precast and construction
operations• Negotiate with suppliers for best pricing, payment terms, quality
assurance, and delivery schedules.
- Develop and maintain approved vendor databases and long-term
supplier relationships.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders aligned with project requirements
and production schedules.
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, pricing, responsiveness,
and delivery timelines.
Inventory & Material Planning
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, production teams,
and stores departments to forecast material requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability to avoid
shortages or overstocking.
- Conduct inventory audits and material reconciliation.
- Track inward and outward movement of materials and maintain
accurate records.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain procurement documentation including:
o Purchase orders
o Delivery challans
o Vendor invoices
o Material receipt records
o Cost comparison statements
- Prepare procurement reports, material consumption reports, and cost
analyses.
- Support management with data-driven recommendations for purchasing
efficiency and cost optimization.
Compliance & Process Management
- Ensure procurement and material handling comply with company
quality standards, safety norms, and environmental regulations.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure material quality compliance.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in sourcing
and procurement operations.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:
o Civil Engineering
o Construction Management
o Supply Chain Management
o Related field
- 3–7 years of experience in:
o Material procurement
o Purchase operations
o Store management
o Construction or precast concrete industry
o Construction materials
o Procurement processes
o Vendor sourcing
o Logistics and inventory management
o MS Office
o ERP systems
o Inventory management software

Compensation
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 per month
(Based on experience and expertise)

In-person role at either:
- Tirupati Manufacturing Plant
OR
- Gudapakkam Precast Plant near Poonamallee – Tirupati Highway
