At Mott we are looking for a Principal Digital Engineer.
Responsibilities will include :

Collaborate closely with stakeholders, cross-functional group managers, and global engineering leads to ensure consistency and excellence in application development and governance.

Mentor and foster the growth of a forward-thinking team dedicated to developing next-generation digital applications.

Oversee the planning, design, development, execution, and maintenance of software applications that seamlessly scale across our organization and client base.

Operate at all levels, providing strategic insights while delving into the intricate details of application development as required.

A commitment to high quality applications and be able to pay attention to detail.

Lead the estimation process, evaluate risks, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and adherence to companywide software development best practices.

Qualifications:
-
Degree in computer science or software engineering, with at least 8 years of relevant work experience, including experience in technical leadership and people management.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional team across multiple countries (United Kingdom, New Zealand, and United States).
-
Strong communication, technical, and managerial skills.
-
Familiarity with modern cloud-first application patterns (MS Azure).
-
Proficiency in one of the following .Net, net Core ASP.Net, VB.Net, C#, PHP, React, Nodejs, AngularJS, web services, Web-Api, Azure Devops, Python, JavaScript (ES2016), C#, PostgreSQL.

Familiarity with containerized workloads and Kubernetes environment.

Familiarity in MS PowerPlatform would be beneficial

Understanding of the importance of communication, simplicity, and reliability in decision-making processes.
