Job Summary
We are looking for a data-driven and analytical HR Analytics Specialist to support strategic HR decision-making through data, reporting, dashboards, and workforce insights.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing HR data, identifying trends, developing meaningful reports, and providing actionable insights related to employee performance, retention, recruitment, attendance, compensation, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze HR and employee data.
- Develop and maintain HR dashboards, MIS reports, and analytics reports.
- Track key HR metrics such as attrition, retention, absenteeism, hiring, employee productivity, and workforce costs.
- Analyze recruitment data including hiring timelines, source effectiveness, and recruitment performance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual HR analytics reports.
- Identify workforce trends and provide actionable recommendations to management.
- Support manpower planning and workforce forecasting using data insights.
- Analyze employee engagement, performance, and retention trends.
- Work closely with HR, Recruitment, Finance, and Business teams to understand data requirements.
- Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity of employee data.
- Automate recurring HR reports and improve reporting processes.
- Present analytical findings and insights to senior management in a clear and understandable format.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, Power Query, and data visualization.
- Experience with Power BI or other BI/dashboarding tools.
- Good understanding of HR processes and key HR metrics.
- Strong knowledge of HR MIS and reporting.
- Ability to work with large datasets and identify meaningful trends.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or People Analytics will be an advantage.
- Experience with HRMS/HRIS platforms is preferred.
- Knowledge of SQL or basic data analytics tools will be an added advantage.
