Designation: Design Engineer/ Sr. Design Engineer (Solar Project)
Experience Required: 2 – 7 years
Qualifications: BE / B. Tech / Diploma in Engineering -Mechanical
Software Skills: Autocad / Sketchup/ Excel/ PVsyst /Helioscope
Job Responsibilities:
- Create AutoCAD-based layouts for solar power plants using single-axis tracker systems.
- Perform slope analysis and generate slope maps from contour data using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Prepare grading documents, analyze site topography, and determine optimal tilt angles for solar panels.
- Conduct civil and structural design estimation, costing, and preparation of Bill of Materials (BoM).
- Design and draft RCC structural drawings including pile foundations, well/open/raft foundations, pedestals, pier caps, precast boxes, and staging/shuttering plans.
- Support field evaluations by assessing operability, collecting survey data, and troubleshooting design and construction issues on-site.
- Ensure layout and structural designs adhere to project specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams, clients, and on-site stakeholders for effective project execution.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D; working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential.
- Understanding of tools like PVsyst, L-Pile, and STAAD Pro (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong analytical and engineering fundamentals in civil/structural disciplines.
- Ability to evaluate and resolve field-related technical and design issues.
- Experience working with international teams and managing client expectations.
