Job Title: QA/QC Manager – R&D, Localisation & Contract Manufacturing (Venttup)Experience: 10 Years
About the Role:We're looking for a QA/QC Manager to build and lead quality systems for our upcoming R&D unit, localisation projects, and contract manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Establish QA/QC systems and processes for a new R&D/manufacturing unit from ground up
· Drive quality assurance for NPD projects — first article inspection, PPAP, DFM/DFMA quality inputs
· Lead quality validation for Localisation & Reverse Engineering projects — ensure form/fit/function match with original components
· Vendor quality management — supplier audits, incoming quality inspection, vendor quality scorecards
· Manage CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Action) process and root-cause analysis for quality issues
· Define and monitor quality KPIs — rejection rate, rework %, customer complaints, on-time quality clearance
· Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 9001, customer-specific quality requirements)
· Prepare and maintain quality documentation — control plans, inspection reports, process sheets, checklists
· Coordinate with production, design, and vendor teams to resolve quality issues before they impact delivery
· Conduct in-process and final inspection for machined/manufactured components
Requirements:
· 10+ years' experience in QA/QC, with exposure to NPD, Localisation, and/or Reverse Engineering
· Strong knowledge of machining processes, GD&T, measuring instruments (CMM, height gauge, etc.)
· Experience setting up quality systems in a manufacturing/contract manufacturing environment
· Vendor quality audit and supplier development experience
· ISO 9001 / quality management certification preferred
· Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Six Sigma/quality certifications a plus
