Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Buffer / Polisher to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for buffing, polishing, and finishing metal components to achieve the required surface finish and quality standards. Experience in handling polishing machines, buffing wheels, and metal finishing processes is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate buffing and polishing machines.
- Polish metal parts to achieve smooth, satin, or mirror finishes.
- Remove surface defects, scratches, burrs, and imperfections.
- Apply polishing compounds and maintain polishing equipment.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow production schedules and meet daily targets.
- Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
- Use PPE and follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in buffing, polishing, or metal finishing.
- Knowledge of polishing compounds, buffing wheels, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Good attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Physically fit and able to handle production work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in stainless steel, brass, or aluminum polishing.
- Knowledge of mirror finish and surface finishing standards.
- Ability to use grinders, sanders, and polishing tools.
