Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Design Engineer with experience in both design and drafting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating 3D models, preparing manufacturing drawings, developing BOMs, and supporting the design and development of hydraulic machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop hydraulic machines, assemblies, and components.
- Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing and fabrication drawings.
- Create 3D models using CAD software.
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Modify existing designs based on production requirements and customer specifications.
- Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Quality teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure drawings and designs comply with engineering and manufacturing standards.
- Maintain engineering documentation and drawing revisions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical drafting and machine design.
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Hydraulic Machine Manufacturing, Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Industrial Machinery, or Fabrication Industry.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, cylinders, pumps, and power packs will be an added advantage.
