Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall procurement and purchase function for government building construction projects.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budgets.
- Handle sourcing and procurement of civil construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP items, etc.).
- Manage vendor identification, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization.
- Ensure compliance with government procurement policies, tendering processes, and contract requirements.
- Oversee preparation and evaluation of RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and government authorities.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and supply risks.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
- Lead cost control initiatives and optimize procurement spend.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams for smooth operations.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
Mandatory Requirements
- 15–20 years of experience in procurement/purchase.
- Must have prior experience in government building construction projects.
- Must have a Civil Engineering background (Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil) and MBA.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, vendor ecosystem, and supply chain.
- Hands-on experience in tendering, contract management, and government compliance.
- Proven leadership experience managing procurement teams.
Preferred Skills
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong understanding of cost control and budgeting.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
