Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Reliability to lead quality assurance and reliability initiatives for precision machined and fabricated components in a heavy engineering manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in quality systems, root cause analysis, customer complaint resolution, and reliability engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality assurance and reliability of manufactured products and components.
- Monitor and improve quality processes for precision machined components such as gears, pinions, and gearboxes.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards for fabricated components and assemblies.
- Conduct failure analysis and root cause investigations.
- Handle customer quality concerns and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor material testing, NDT, and heat treatment processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in product reliability and quality.
- Ensure adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Coordinate with production, design, and customer teams to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare quality reports, reliability metrics, and improvement plans.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years of experience in quality/reliability engineering within manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Precision machined components
- Gears, pinions, and gearboxes
- Material testing
- NDT processes
- Heat treatment
- Fabricated components
- Failure analysis
- Customer complaint handling
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Good communication skills in English and Kannada.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
