Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tester with expertise in both manual and automated testing for web applications built with Vue.js and PHP. As a tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software products through effective testing processes. You will work closely with the development team to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues and verify the functionality of web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Manual Testing:
- Perform manual testing of web applications built with Vue.js and PHP.
- Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate functionality, performance, and usability.
- Execute exploratory and regression testing to identify defects and ensure quality.
- Record and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
Automated Testing:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, or PHPUnit. Or anything else.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure seamless testing.
- Ensure tests are repeatable, reliable, and scalable.
- Work with the development team to improve the overall test coverage and efficiency of the automated tests.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with developers to understand application features and identify areas for testing.
- Provide regular testing reports, status updates, and insights on potential risks and defects.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Solid experience with manual testing of web applications, particularly Vue.js and PHP-based applications.
- Experience with automated testing tools like Cypress, Selenium, PHPUnit, or similar frameworks.
Version Control:
- Familiar with Git for version control and working within collaborative development environments.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying issues.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.
Experience:
- Experience testing Vue.js and PHP applications.
- Familiarity with testing in agile environments and using issue tracking tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing tools or platforms (e.g., BrowserStack).
- Knowledge of performance testing and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
