Job Purpose
To drive sales and business development of medical devices in the Government healthcare sector by developing strong relationships with government hospitals, medical institutions, procurement departments, and other relevant stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in Government hospitals and healthcare institutions.
- Travel within assigned territories to promote and sell medical devices.
- Conduct cold calls and arrange appointments with hospital administrators, doctors, purchase departments, and other decision-makers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Government hospital staff, doctors, procurement teams, and key stakeholders.
- Identify upcoming tenders, rate contracts, procurement opportunities, and other Government business opportunities.
- Coordinate and support the preparation and submission of tenders, quotations, technical documents, and other required documents.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and discussions with doctors and hospital staff.
- Organize conferences, workshops, CMEs, and product awareness programs for healthcare professionals.
- Generate new customers while maintaining and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
- Follow up on orders, product installations, customer requirements, and product-related complaints.
- Coordinate with internal departments for timely execution of orders and customer support.
- Ensure regular follow-up for outstanding payments and support collection activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, tenders, and business opportunities.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and provide regular market and competitor feedback to management.
- Stay updated on Government procurement procedures, policies, and healthcare market developments.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Experience in Medical Devices Sales, preferably with exposure to the Government healthcare sector.
- Good understanding of Government hospitals, tenders, procurement processes, and institutional sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
