Job Summary:
Crystal Group is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – F&V & Cold Storage Operations to manage end-to-end warehouse and cold storage operations. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, temperature-controlled storage, fruits & vegetables handling, dispatch planning, customer coordination, and manpower management while ensuring operational excellence and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily cold storage and F&V warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch activities. Ensure proper handling, grading, sorting, and storage of fruits and vegetables to maintain quality and minimize losses. Monitor inventory accuracy and ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance across all stock movements. Supervise temperature-controlled storage operations and ensure adherence to cold chain standards. Coordinate with customers, transporters, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders for smooth operations. Lead and manage warehouse manpower, shift planning, productivity, and performance monitoring. Ensure timely order processing, dispatch planning, and vehicle turnaround management. Track operational KPIs and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports. Conduct stock audits, inventory reconciliation, and process compliance checks. Ensure implementation of safety, hygiene, food safety, and quality standards within the facility. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Coordinate with maintenance and refrigeration teams for uninterrupted cold storage operations.
Candidate Profile:
Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Agriculture, Food Technology, Operations Management, or related discipline. 5–8 years of experience in Cold Storage, Cold Chain, Warehousing, or Fruits & Vegetables Operations. Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes, and temperature-controlled storage. Experience in handling perishable products, fruits & vegetables, and customer-driven operations. Good understanding of WMS, MS Excel, inventory controls, and operational reporting. Strong leadership, team management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in multi-temperature cold storage facilities. Knowledge of food safety standards and cold chain compliance. Expertise in FIFO/FEFO inventory practices. Ability to manage large operational teams and customer requirements efficiently. Experience in high-volume F&V warehousing and distribution operations.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
