Roles & Responsibilities:
For the Principal Engineer role, we are looking for a candidate with 8 years of experience in software engineering
Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Proven expertise around design and development of large scale enterprise applications using Microsoft .Net Framework 4+, .MVC, .Net Core
- Good knowledge in database design and development using latest version of Oracle/MS SQL Server
- Product expertise on building framework-based web applications and complex enterprise integration
- DevOps model expertise with expertise in automating deployments and continuous integration
- Establish automated Code reviews, web development standards and practices
- Automated unit testing and Test driven development
- Strong understanding of implementing design patterns
- Experience in Restful API design and principles along with Swagger.
- Working on Agile/Scrum development methodology
- Quickly learn new technologies, solve complex problems and be able to ramp up on new projects quickly.
- Communicate effectively and be able to review ones work as well as others with a particular attention to accuracy and detail.
- The candidate must demonstrate a strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming and be able to work effectively on distributed components.
- Develop effective and efficient Web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
- Investigate research and correct defects effectively and efficiently.
- Must have proven application development skills, excellent documentation and presentation skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to identify needs and take initiative
- Strong working knowledge of software development life cycle process.
- Understand design patterns, complete technical designs and review the designs of others.
- Ensure code meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable
- Complete work to prescribed standards and follow prescribed workflow process.
- Unit test software components efficiently and effectively
Required Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science or related
- Strong .NET experience (Microsoft .Net Framework 4+, .MVC,.Net Core)
- Strong Web development experience (Jquery, JavaScript, Angular, XML, Web Services, CSS, SASS)
- Strong Oracle, stored procedures and relational data base skills and proven experience
- Experience with Visual Studio, TFS, GitHub and Azure DevOps
