Our Enterprise Performance team helps organizations unlock value from enterprise platforms and digital technologies across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and IT operations. As an SAP CO-Product Costing Functional Consultant, you will work with cross-functional teams to support finance and operational transformation initiatives by designing and delivering SAP Controlling solutions that align business processes with technology.
In this role, you will help clients improve cost visibility, product costing accuracy, and financial decision-making through SAP CO capabilities. With Deloitte’s industry knowledge, process experience, and collaborative delivery approach, you will support clients through complex transformation efforts and help deliver practical, sustainable outcomes.
Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do
As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for:
- Support SAP Controlling (CO) functional workstreams by gathering business requirements, documenting current-state and future-state processes, and contributing to solution design aligned to client objectives.
- Configure and support SAP CO processes, including product costing, cost center accounting, cost element accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis (CO-PA), and profit center accounting.
- Collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to prepare functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and other project deliverables.
- Support integration of SAP CO with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), and Sales and Distribution (SD) processes across implementation and support engagements.
- Contribute to testing, defect resolution, deployment support, and ongoing application support while delivering assigned work products within established timelines.

Shift Timings: 24x7 rotational shifts including night shifts as per business requirements
Qualifications
Required:
- 3-6 years of experience working with SAP Controlling (CO)
- Experience with product costing, cost center accounting, cost element accounting, internal orders, profitability analysis (CO-PA), or profit center accounting
- Experience integrating SAP CO with Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP), or Sales and Distribution (SD)
- Experience with SAP implementation or support projects in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA environments
- Experience leading or participating in blueprint workshops focused on SAP CO
- Experience writing functional specifications, process documentation, or test scenarios for SAP CO solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in engineering
Preferred:
- Experience with activity-based costing in SAP CO
- Experience supporting application maintenance or production support engagements
- Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service management processes
- Experience using Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) tools
