About the Role
We are a growing cattle feed trading firm looking for an energetic Sales Manager to expand our dealer and farmer network. This is a field-driven role — you'll spend your time building relationships with dealers, distributors, and dairy farms across your territory and converting them into consistent business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage dealer, distributor, and retailer network in the assigned territory
- Generate direct sales to dairy farms and bulk buyers
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and collection targets
- Conduct regular field visits, farmer meetings, and product demonstrations
- Negotiate rates, credit terms, and supply schedules with customers
- Track competitor pricing, schemes, and market movement; report findings
- Follow up on outstanding payments and keep receivables in control
- Maintain daily sales reports, visit logs, and customer database
- Coordinate with purchase and logistics teams for timely dispatch and delivery
Requirements
- Experience in sales of cattle feed, animal feed, agri-inputs, dairy products, or veterinary products preferred
- Proven track record in field sales and dealer network development
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Active, smart, and confident with good communication in [Hindi / Punjabi / local language]
- Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and WhatsApp-based reporting
- Graduate
