Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and qualified TGT English Teacher to teach students of Classes VI–X. The candidate will be responsible for developing students' reading, writing, grammar, literature, and communication skills through engaging and curriculum-aligned teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature for Classes VI–X.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Improve students' grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Conduct regular tests and evaluate student performance.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Provide individual attention and academic support to students.
- Use smart classroom tools and modern teaching methodologies.
- Prepare students for examinations, competitions, debates, and literary activities.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and progress reports.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and academic activities.
Required Skills
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
- Knowledge of CBSE/State Board curriculum.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.A./M.A. in English from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. preferred.
- Minimum 2–6 years of teaching experience as TGT English.
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude.
