Reporting To: Cinema Manager / Cluster Manager
Job Purpose
To manage the day-to-day operations of the cinema, ensure excellent customer service, maintain operational standards, and lead the team effectively during the assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall cinema operations during the assigned shift.
- Ensure smooth functioning of Box Office, F&B, Guest Services, Housekeeping, Security, and other operational areas.
- Supervise, guide, and motivate team members to achieve operational and sales targets.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints and concerns.
- Monitor ticketing, F&B sales, cash handling, stock, and daily operational activities.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and safety standards across the cinema.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, policies, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with Security, Housekeeping, F&B, Technical, and other departments for smooth operations.
- Conduct regular floor rounds and ensure all areas are maintained as per PVR INOX standards.
- Monitor staff attendance, duty rosters, breaks, and manpower deployment.
- Prepare and maintain daily operational reports and shift handover reports.
- Handle emergency situations and escalate critical issues to the concerned management.
- Ensure proper handling of cash, inventory, equipment, and company assets.
- Support the Cinema Manager in achieving revenue, customer satisfaction, cost control, and operational targets.
- Conduct briefings and provide feedback to team members.
- Ensure all audit and compliance requirements are completed within timelines.

Qualification & Experience
- Education: Graduate preferred; Hotel Management / Hospitality / Retail / Business Administration background is an added advantage.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cinema, hospitality, retail, QSR, or similar customer-facing operations.
- Experience in handling a team and managing shift operations will be preferred.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,600.00 per month
