Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to support construction and infrastructure projects. The candidate will assist in site supervision, project planning, quality control, and coordination with contractors and engineers to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers in planning, designing, and executing construction projects.
- Supervise daily construction site activities and ensure work is done as per drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality of materials and workmanship at the site.
- Prepare and maintain site reports, measurements, and documentation.
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Check structural drawings, layouts, and BOQ (Bill of Quantities).
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and construction regulations.
- Track project progress and report updates to senior management.
- Assist in quantity surveying and cost estimation.
- Resolve minor technical issues at the construction site.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of construction methods and civil engineering principles
- Ability to read engineering drawings and plans
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Office
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and time management
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in construction or site engineering
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
